Opportunity: Re-energize 15,000+ alumni and win new donors to fuel Augsburg’s largest fundraising effort ever.
Our Work: Partnering with the advancement team, we created a continuum of content from the quiet phase through the public launch. Campaign films plus interest-specific videos, thematic photography, and a podcast series laddered back to the campaign promise. The Great Returns campaign closed at $128.8 million—out-raising the $125 million goal and marking the biggest campaign in Augsburg history.

Turning alumni memory into donor momentum.
Augsburg has always punched above its weight — a small urban university producing outsized impact. The opportunity was helping 15,000+ alumni feel that connection again at the exact moment a historic campaign needed them. We built a content approach rooted in real stories from the Augsburg community — students, faculty, staff — told through film, photography, and podcast. Each asset was designed to travel: into inboxes, event screens, gift officer conversations, and social feeds, giving the institutional advancement team a force multiplier they could deploy across every stage of the campaign.
'We're All In' Campaign Films
Across the multi-year push we produced over 10 short films—some cinematic profiles capturing a single student’s journey, others tightly scripted narration pieces that stitched voices into a rallying message. Each video gave gift officers a turnkey asset for events, email, and social, keeping the Great Returns story fresh and emotionally resonant at each stage of the campaign.
The Augsburg Podcast
We produced a podcast series that put microphones in front of students and faculty—offering honest, human moments that deepened listeners’ connection and inspired continued support.
